Iii. Application requirements
Read the main varieties of plastic home appliances, performance characteristics, USES and molding methods, we start from each electrical appliances, see a variety of household appliances to the actual requirements of plastic.
Requirements: sufficient mechanical strength, rigidity, dimensional stability, creep resistance.
Refrigerated freezer in addition to the above mechanical performance requirements also requires non-toxic, odorless, low temperature resistance, resistance to cracking, edible oil and so on.

2. Washing machine
Requirements: high heat resistance (100℃), good chemical resistance, good resistance to detergent, lubricant, grease and impact resistance.
The most commonly used plastics are general plastic PP(inner barrel cover plate base turbine, etc.), while the most commonly used engineering plastics are polyformaldehyde polyamide and ABS.
3, air conditioning
Requirements: rigidity, creep resistance, impact resistance, flame retardant, shock resistance, cold resistance, weather resistance, heat deformation temperature (HDT) ≥ 70℃ or more.
The components used are: fan, intake window, front control panel, bearing frame, horizontal radiator and rear shell.
Fans: indoor fans with 20%~30% glass fiber AS, outdoor fans with glass fiber reinforced ABS or AS.
Intake window and front control panel: ABS or HIPS
Bearing rack and horizontal radiator: glass fiber reinforced ABS
Rear housing: chemical resistant ABS
4. Electric fan
Products: blade blade housing housing knob version
Plastic material: ABS AS reinforced PPS, etc
Blade: opaque ABS manufacturing transparent AS manufacturing
5. Vacuum cleaner
Requirements: good rigidity, impact and scratch resistance, good dyeing and luster, anti-static and avoid dust absorption
Plastic material: vacuum cleaner shell (ABS), motor bracket wheel accessories, etc. adopt polyamide (PA) or reinforced PP
6. Electric iron
Requirements: heat resistance, impact strength, appearance
Plastic material: the shell of the electric iron and the bottom plate of the handle water trough are made of reinforced PP or ABS, and the parts near the heating area require high heat resistance, which are made of PC, PA or PBT.
Microwave ovens and rice cookers
Requirements: heat resistance, flame retardant rigidity, dimensional stability.
Plastic material: ABS is used in the shell, PBT and ABS are used in the switch knob of the handle.
The temperature of internal components is required to be up to 200℃, and only glass fiber reinforced PSF glass fiber reinforced PPS polyether ether ketone (PEEK) and liquid crystal polymer (LCP) can meet the requirements.
Of course, in addition to the above electrical appliances, home appliances and television, imaging equipment, lighting fixtures.
The plastics involved are not much different from those used in the above-mentioned electrical appliances.
